I'm Anomitra Saha, a Principal Engineer based in India.

Over the last 10+ years, I've worked on backend and platform systems across fintech, supply chain, and e-commerce. My work has mostly been around building and evolving systems that need to stay reliable while handling real operational complexity: lending flows, financial ledgers, factory workflows, inventory, shipment tracking, and the usual distributed-systems edge cases that only show up in production.

More recently, I've been leading platform work at Captain Fresh, including multi-tenant architecture, auditability across microservices, and internal engineering tooling. Before that, I worked on lending systems at Avail Finance and backend platforms at Livspace and Belzabar.

I’m most interested in system design, engineering standards, and how teams build software that scales without becoming harder to change. This site is where I write about distributed systems, senior engineering, and engineering management.
